Alchemy GameLab is a small indie game design studio based on northern Colorado.

Inclusive Gaming

Gaming is for everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability, or background. Games — and roleplaying games especially — create portals into incredible worlds of unlimited imagination. Without exception, we want everyone to have the opportunity to come together at the table (in-person or virtually), collaborate, imagine, and have fun in a safe environment.

Therefore, our games should be used in the spirit of inclusion and equity. Although our games may delve into dark or mature themes, we strive to make the real world a better, kinder place where everyone can be treated with respect.

AI Policy

Although we dabbled with AI for a little while in the early days (circa 2023 and ‘24), we lost interest pretty quick. The last thing we want to make is more AI slop. We strongly agree with the gaming community that over-reliance on AI writing and art results in poor quality and/or lack of originality. Therefore, all of our new games have been written and created by people. You will never read something from us that's been copied and pasted from ChatGPT. Our games also feature human-created artwork along with creative commons art and images.

Bottom line: While some aspects of AI may be useful and beneficial, we’re much more interested in fostering and promoting human creativity.

Alchemy GameLab is a hyper-collaborative group of gamers focused on transforming creative power into social and environmental good. In the near future, we plan to work with nonprofit organizations to help raise funds for important causes, and will continue seeking out ways to be involved with helping others in our extended community.
